What is the most important crisis facing Christianity today?

I think the most important crisis we face is the same one Christians have always faced...ourselves. No matter the form the most recent crisis takes, it is always at heart a question of having the mind of Christ and doing the will of the Father despite the passions that may lead us to do things that seem more righteous or "proactive" (or conversely, more passive and loving) to others.

I think that sometimes the issues that we take in hand really involve our Christian egos more than our actual life as Christ's own. The crisis is in figuring out which is which at every turn..big or small...personal or governmental..family or society.

At least that is the battle for me.

I'd have to say placing our priorities in the wrong places. Mostly putting oursleves first and God somewhere else on down the line.
