Do you mean sin as the condition of estrangement that affects the whole human race?
or,
Do you mean sins, those nasty things that we do as individuals that serve to deny God (and are a result of the estrangement noted in answer #1)?
I agree with all of your answers. My own version of what you've basically said is that sin is what I do that separates me from God. And yes, these are things that are contrary to the will of God.
And Tony, I mean any definition you would like to submit.
