What would you say is the number one problem with our nation at this moment?

Love of God and Love of Neighbor. ALL the Laws and the Prophets hang on these two and they have probably been the most problematic thing for any nation in existence to this day.

for the west I'd have to say Greed which in effect is not putting your neighbour before yourself.

We are all so consumer oriented :(

To the rest of you, I agree with all. I think John sums it up with sin. Not loving our neighbor or God and having greed would definitely fall into the category of sin.
