Thought of the Day !!

For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received a spirit of adoption. When we cry, ‘Abba! Father!’ it is that very Spirit bearing witness with our spirit that we are children of God.
Romans 8:15-16 (NRSV)

God’s very Spirit bears witness to us that we are His children. His Spirit gives us assurance that we are His. We can all have this assurance. For some Christians though, they believe, but they have some doubts and therefore fears. It’s possible that they’ve not received assurance because they’ve never asked for it. Maybe they’ve never thought about it. Or maybe God's gift has been given, but they just don't recognize it.
