Thought of the Day !!

On the way to the office this morning I listened to a Casting Crowns song called "Sweet Jesus Boy". I'd like to share it with you this morning.

Sweet little Jesus boy, born in a manger
Sweet little Holy child, we didn't know who You were

Long time ago it seems You were born
Born in a manger Lord, sweet little Jesus boy

Didn't know You'd come to save us all
To take our sins away
Our eyes were blind we did not see

This world treats You mean Lord

That verse that goes "This word treats You mean Lord, Treats me mean too. But that's how things are done down here" really caught my attention. We live in a world where people think more of themselves than others. And so often it can be a downright mean place to be because of people's actions or inactions. During this Christmas time let us seek to be kind to others, not mean. Let do all we can to change uncaring attitudes. Let us show others the positive outlook that comes with Jesus instead of all the negativism that runs rampant so often. Let us be the hands and feet and voice of the child born in Bethlehem.
