Question of the day ??
If you couldn't be a Methodist, what denomination would you join? If you're not a Methodist, where would you go if you couldn't belong to your denomination anymore?
Thoughts on GOD and TRUTH (found somewhere in the middle of ultra-conservatism and flaming liberalism)

Probably Church of God (Anderson).
Wesleyan, or Evangelical (non-compliant EUB'ers)
Lutheran. (even though I am sometimes "lost" during their services)
We live in the country, surrounded by the most wonderful neighbors. Most of them belong to the little Lutheran congregation down the road. My kids teach their Vacation Bible School. I have helped serve funerals and Father & Son banquets. I often feel more welcome in that church that my own UMC. My husband and I will be buried in the cemetary there. It is like family :)
There are other denominations? Wow, I've heard rumors of this. . . Well, Greg, the answer is home sweet Rome. After all, they accused Wesley of being a closet "Papist" at times.
Andy - Like I didn't see that coming.
Greg,
I'd either be with with the Assemblies of God or a Roman Catholic.
Actually, I wish I could combine the two.
I think I might go to the Episcopal church. Or UCC, depending on how liturgical I was feeling that day...
an independent Bible church
Grinning at Andy...combine the two?
I actually do know what you mean.
I am an Assemblies of God pastor, but if I weren't and if there wasn't anything similar around I'd go to a Methodist or Wesleyan church of some stripe.
I'm a confirmed Arminian. Did I spell that right? LOL
