Question of the day ??

Charles Wesley would take bar tunes and turned them in to hymns. If Charles were around today, what songs might he use the music for "O For a Thousand Tongues" or "Come, Sinners to the Gospel Feast"?

* Can you imagine hearing "Come, Sinners to the Gospel Feast" being rapped????

Not to rain on anyone's parade here, but bar tune refers to a structure of verse (otherwise called bar form). It is the AAB or AABA structure that many hymns have, not their melodies.
