Question of the day ??

Have you ever had a "Mountaintop Experience" of God where you felt the Spirit in such a real way that you couldn't help but know He was there with you? If so, explain.

I hate being the first to respond. But respond, I will.

I've had two mountain top experiences in my life. One was when I was drafted, and as someone not wanting to go, I prayed. That was the first time that God spoke to me. At least, the first time that I could discern. He said, "live in shame for running away, or live in pride that you chose to serve". I chose to serve.

The second was when overwhemed by the love of a sibling for her loved one, I was asked to pray for him. I prayed, deeply, and God worked a miracle. He's now three years free of the cancer that had issued a death warrant for his life.

I hope that this response is what you were looking for...if not...sorry for the blabbering. But God has worked miraculously in my life, and, more importantly, in the lives of those who subjucated themselves to His will.

Our God is an awesome God.

Lily Tomlin said "Why is it that when we talk to God we're said to be praying, but when God talks to us we're crazy?"

I had a moment, I told my husband. I know he thought "crazy" so after that I kept it to myself.
