Thought of the Day !!

When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, "Now go out where it is deeper, and let down your nets to catch some fish."

"Master," Simon replied, "we worked hard all last night and didn't catch a thing. But if you say so, I'll let the nets down again." And this time their nets were so full of fish they began to tear! A shout for help brought their partners in the other boat, and soon both boats were filled with fish and on the verge of sinking.
Luke 5:4-7 (NLT)

Peter’s obedience in the face of his doubt that there was anything to be caught opens the door for a miracle. There’s no reason that they should’ve caught such an abundance. But Jesus uses this blessing to open the door for Peter and the others to go even deeper in their commitment with God.

Obedience in the face of doubt can open the door for miracles for us as well. Our faith can be shaky at times (we all know that), but it’s then that we must strive even harder to obey Jesus and His will for our lives. When we do, we open the door for God to perform great things.

In the love of Christ,
greg
