Thought of the Day !!

You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it salty again? It will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless.
Matthew 5:13 (NLT)

Salt adds flavor. It seasons. So if we are the salt of the earth, the question could be asked, "Where does our seasoning/flavor come from?" You could say that we're seasoned with the Good News of Christ. We are also seasoned with the Grace of our God in Heaven. Therefore, if we are the salt of the earth, then we will know and share the Good News as well as show the same love and mercy of our Heavenly Father.

Are we doing these on a regular basis? If not, we will lose our flavor, and salt that has lost its flavor is worthless according to Jesus. I don't know about you, but I don't want to be worthless. May we all be salt today, bringing good flavor to a world that already has many flavors that only wind up being bitter in the end.
