This is a tough question for me. I preach most of my sermons from the Gospels and beleive most of how to live can be found in the Sermon on the Mount. I love the book of John and like anonymous, John 3:16 is quoted second only to love of God and neighbor my me.
All this said, my 3 most favorite passages probably come from Paul in Ephesians 2:8-10; Romans 8:28; Philippians 1:21.
But on the other hand my answer may change by the time this comment is placed. I seem to find more favorite passages every time I read. I just love the Word. Don't you?
My favorite is the "itching ears" passage--2 Timothy 4:3-4.
"For the time is coming when people will not put up with sound doctrine, but having itching ears, they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own desires, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander away to myths."

2 Chronicles 20 and Zephaniah 3:14-20. My wife and I had the latter selection read at our wedding.
