Thought of the Day !!

They entered the house where the child and his mother, Mary, were, and they fell down before him and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasure chests and gave him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
Matthew 2:11 (NLT)

Jesus has been born and the family has settled into a house somewhere in Bethlehem for Mary to recuperate from giving birth. During this time more visitors come to see the child that they've been told will be king. These wise men come bringing the gifts that are meant for royalty; gold, frankincense, and myrrh. But the gift that matters more than any of these is the gift of their worship. It's the gift of their time and effort. May we give the same gift to Jesus today and everyday.
