In print... Perhaps 20. And I use them all, and all for different reasons at different times.
But then there's BibleWorks (the BEST bible software, hands down--although I think Accordance may be close). It has, I don't know, maybe 120 bibles. Though I don't often use the Danish, Dutch, or Italian versions. :-)
Good question...I didn't know until you posed the question and I had to do a count.
Including my pocket Promise Keepers NIV which I have misplaced (d'oh!), I own a baker's dozen of Bibles. These range from my confirmation RSV to the Picture Bible, featuring all your favorite characters in a comic strip format.
Mike, that's like asking how many dead people are there in the cemetery down the road. Well...all of them...duh!
Let me see if I can come up with the answer to my own question off the top of my head, seeing as most of my books are already packed for my move at the end of June...am I anal or what? :)
KJV Message 2 NIV 1 NIV Quest Study Bible (I recommend to new Christians) 1 NIV Study 1 NIV Spiritual Formation 3 NRSV (including my favorite that was given to me by my wife for our anniversary just before I entered the ministry. I use this one to preach from.) 1 NRSV with Book of Common Prayer 1 NASB 2 NLT 1 Max Lucado NCV Study 1 CEV
That's 16, but I'm not sure if it's all of them. That was more difficult than I thought. ha ha.
1 KJV (that is the one I use.) 1 that I got at my UMC when I entered the 3rd grade. 1 NKJV that I keep at work.
I also have several Gideon NT, Psalms and Proverbs pocket bibles, does that count? Oh, and I downloaded E-Sword on my computer, but I only have the KJV and the Latin Vulgate translations downloaded on it. Do those count?

The next one I get, I want it to be a TNIV.
1, and its the one I got from Sunday School when I was in 3rd grade...so its really, really old!
I have the promise of the "family bible" someday down the road. Not looking foward to it as it will be inherited :(
16, if you count The Message, the Picture Bible and the New World Translation, which I don't. So 13.
I usually use my NASB Study Bible.
