there was this time i was in a fishing boat off the east coast when two large storm cells collided and we were right in the middle of it.. wait, that wasn't me, nevermind

The worst storm I've faced was on July 2nd of this year, when my daughter-in-law committed suicide.My church's response was basically no response--when I needed them the most. They didn't know what to say, so they said nothing.
I'm so sorry to hear that maureen. I can understand and relate to times in the past when I didn't know what to say as well. And I'm sure I've failed at points by not knowing the right things to say. But all in all, the least we can do is pay attention and be there to surround people with love when tragedy strikes.
That wasn't too long ago. It must still be lingering in your's and your son's minds and hearts. Have either one of you been able to talk to anyone. IE counselor or pastor or best friends?
