Yes, it's real. The Bible says so.
I believe in it. Likewise with John, the Bible says it is true and the Bible says Christ cast out demons. If He didn't, then either He or the Bible is a liar and that cannot be.
I do not believe that a true washed in the blood, filled with the Holy Ghost Christian, can be demon possessed. If mean if Christ and the Holy Spirit are living in me and if my body is a Temple to the Holy Ghost, I don't think a demon is going to move in. However, pretenders can be possessed.
Non-believers: Yes.
True believers: No (there is no vacancy)
