To clear up a few things

If you're one of those misguided people who chooses beef on my survey below, you'll be guided to a place of redemption. And it is there that this comment was made.

Kansas Girl
"Beef! It's What's For Dinner"
"Eat Beef"

A study in 2004 show that Americans eat an average of 3 hamburgers per week. Not porkburgers---hamburgers.

Steak is the meat of choice ordered in most restaurants.

On our Kansas farm we value beef so much that we are now raising hormone free beef.

To which I decided to clear a few things up. Please note the following:

Kansas Girl,

I'll say it this way. I do NOT dislike beef. As a matter of fact, a good t-bone or ribeye is about my favorite food. I also had a hamburger for lunch today.

This all started last summer with Mark Winter's heretical statement that BBQ was beef instead of pork. BBQ is pork!!!

Beef has it's place (mostly in my tummy) But Bar-b-que is made and enjoyed as pork. Beef just ain't it.

Verily, if an elder can get away with stating such things, then the United Methodist Church is apostate.

I believe I speak for Wesley on this subject.

"Pork is the other white meat and shouldst be BBQ'd whenever possible to feed the masses. Thou shalt not let those poor souls go hungry. Feed them Pork and save their souls!"

Quoted from a little known sermon entitled, "Pork, God's food for the masses"
