Hi Greg...intimidating question...yet one to have fun with...from a faith standpoint, I'd like to have a deeper more mature faith...from a family standpoint, I'd like to have financial secutity and not have to worry about how to pay for children's college, pay the bills...from a son's standpoint, I'd like to have one more conversation with my Dad and with my Mom, there's so much I'd like to say and a few more questions I'd like to ask...for the world, God's Peace...from a church standpoint, a hunger and passion for the God-Things of life...for my wife, happiness and less worry...for my son, a deeper relationship with God and a vocation that makes a Godly-difference...for my daughter, healthy self-confidence and a vocation that pleases God...personally, I'd like to weigh less and play more...for my dogs, endless Kibble, grassy meadows, cool breeze and shade, clean water, and swimming pool...thanks for the question...have a day in the midst of what God's doing...
I just love this post from whomever. I guess I never thought about thinking about if from different standpoints. I did think maybe we could just have some fun with it. So from that standpoint, I would wish my Braves could make it back to the Series and actually win.
But in thinking about this question seriously, the last person posting had a point in that it is a very intimidating question. Maybe my answer would be to make both my father on earth and my Father in Heaven proud on a daily basis, while never letting them down. That is what I might truly wish.
(Of course I should mention that along with my earthly father goes my earthly mother too. Don't want to leave her out. And then of course there's always my wife. What about my 4th grade teacher...oh no...it's getting overwhelming...yikes...ha ha...but I think you get the gist of my wish.)
Transport my present brain and consciousness back in time to my body in the summer of 1988.
Hmm. Maybe it's an unimportant thing in the grand scheme and it's selfish. But it's the first thought that came into my head when I read your question.
