The Beverly Hillbillies & All in the Family.

My father always told me as a teenager that I was a combination of Jethro Bodine and Archie Bunker, but I never knew exactly what he meant by that.

And Mike, I knew I recognized that sign off, but for some reason just never added it up. Of course I remember. How could I forget one of my early mentors. Is that scary or what?

Thanks for coming clean, and it's a priviledge having you here.

I still love that show.

John and Keith--
Did you know there is a Beverly Hillbillies Bible study that uses tapes of old episodes? It's a hoot--we used it a few years ago for a fun summer class.

OOH OOH, MR. KOTTA, I mean fellow TV buffs, I too love(d) Looney Toons and also no Saturday morning would be complete without Superfriends.

While John had the hots for Ellie May, my favorite babes of the big screen were Daisy Duke and Wonder Woman...Lynda Carter, not the cartoon version on Super Friends. I just thought I'd clarify there.

QG - I've seen the Bev. Hillbillies study, but never done it. I have, however, done the Andy Griffith. Cool.

Trivia questions: what was the name of Elly May's mother?

What was Granny's real name?

Good trivia John,

I don't know Elly's maw's name.

Granny's real character name was Daisy, I think. Or did you mean Irene Ryan?

Elly May's mother was named Rose Ellen. It was mentioned once during the show.

Granny's real name was Daisy Moses. Also mentioned once.
