Question of the day ??

What's your favorite sacrament, baptism or the Lord's Supper? (Remember, I didn't ask which is more important. I asked which you enjoyed being a part of more.)

Greg,

Why marriage of course! No wait, that was only a sacrament when I went to Christian Brothers. LOL!

I like Holy Communion the best. It reminds me of the sacrifice of our Lord. I reminds of his beaten and bloody body as a payment for out sins. I truly take the sacrament in remembrance of Christ.

As a pastor, undoubtedly baptism. When I celebrated my first baptism, I was so moved that I was teary through the whole thing. What a special, precious moment. It was to me the most real it has ever been, since I could not doubt God's presence in the child I was baptizing. But Communion feeds me spiritually, personally, and was definitely my 'favorite' during seminary when I got to partake weekly.

The best for me was when I baptized my twin baby nephews. That was a very special moment.

I tend to agree with Beth on how special that is. Though I love the fact that I get to experience Communion more often.
