Hi Greg...Life is like a perpetual baseball game and we're all trying to get Safely Home...thanks for the question...enjoy playing the game...Be Safe...Mike Sahler...
Life is like flying a kite...trying to reach a certain height...and when suddenly cut off...wishfully believing to land somewhere safe...only God knows where. It is vital to stay communicated always.
I think life is a great adventure. As I Christian, I know where I'm going in the end, but how I get there along the way is unknown. Some have it relatively easy, some have it realatively hard, but it is an adventure all the same. I'm not sure I should play it safe. Unless you mean that playing it safe means that I have put my safety and security in the Faith I have have in Christ. It was hard for me to understand this, until I came to the realization that I was going to live forever and this life, (even if I live 100 years) will be like a second of my existence. Yes, we are on a great adventure, never knowing what is around the next bend or corner, but always knowing that Christ is with me no matter where I end up.

Life is sad and scary and very dark. Alone. The only thing that keeps me going is knowing Heaven is on the otherside and things will be perfect there.

Toast with no jelly.
Life is a trip along an country road. Full of twists and turns, not knowing what might be around the next corner... hills and valleys along the way...
There are detours at times, when life gets off track...so far I have always found my way back.
Sometimes my ride is slowed by potholes, but the bumpy parts of the ride make me appreciate the smooth stretches.
Other times there are bugs on my windsheild. Annoying little things that distract me. But if I take the time to wash them away my view is much better!
I don't know where my road will take me, yet it seems so familiar and comfortable.
There sunny days, but know when its rainy...the sun is still there...I just have a little trouble seeing it.
And all along this winding road. There are people that join me. Some for a long time, some for just a fleeting moment. But all there for a reason.
I cannot say when my journey on this road will be over . But when I get to the end, I hope I can look back and say "Wow! That was one heck of a ride!"
I think the award goes to doodlebugmom.
